Grace Mauzy serves as the Director of Marketing at William Woods University, where she leads strategic marketing and communications efforts that strengthen the University’s brand, share the stories of its people and programs, and connect with prospective students, alumni and the broader community.
A proud William Woods alumna, Grace earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Advertising and a minor in Spanish in 2023. During her time at William Woods, she received the Amy Shelton McNutt Award and the Academic Service-Learning Award in recognition of her academic achievement, leadership and commitment to service. She later earned her Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.
Before returning to William Woods, Grace worked in strategic communications for the State of Missouri, where she developed internal and external communications, multimedia content and statewide campaigns. Her professional experience also includes marketing, event promotion, digital strategy and brand development across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
Beyond her work at William Woods, Grace is actively involved in the Mid-Missouri community. She serves on the board of the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV), supports marketing efforts for Dreams to Reality, and owns Jeff City Mahjong, through which she teaches and hosts events throughout the region.
Grace is passionate about thoughtful storytelling, building meaningful connections and finding creative ways to showcase the people, experiences and opportunities that make William Woods distinctive.
