Androcles
and the Lion

In commedia tradition, a group of strolling players set up their stage and give a performance. Using authentic staging and stock characters of commedia—the miserly Pantalone, the bragging Captain, the romantic lovers, the trickster Arlequin, plus an endearing lion—this fable becomes a colorful theatrical experience. The play skyrockets with zany comedy. It also glows with the warmth of friendship. Androcles and the Lion is a prize-winning play, applauded around the world again and again!

The
Wolves

Set entirely within an indoor soccer facility, this play chronicles six Saturday mornings in the lives of nine teenage girls as they stretch and warm up for their games. Through fast-paced and overlapping dialogue, the teammates navigate big questions about life, politics, identity, and personal loss, transforming ordinary adolescents into a fierce pack of warriors on the field.

Based on the classic Aesop's fable, this charming story follows a gentle Christian tailor named Androcles who helps a wild lion by pulling a painful thorn out of its paw. When Androcles is later captured and thrown into the Roman Colosseum arena to face a beast, his life is saved when the lion recognizes him as an old friend.
