Christi Slizewski Tennyson, a native of St. Louis, is a 1997 graduate of William Woods University. In her role as Chief Development Officer, she draws upon a distinguished career in fundraising and alumni engagement, complemented by decades of volunteer service to her alma mater—including a four-year tenure as President of the William Woods Alumni Board.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Christi earned a Master of Divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary in 2018 and was ordained in the United Church of Christ that same year. She continues to serve in ministry, frequently preaching at congregations throughout Eastern and Mid-Missouri.
Christi is the proud mom of a 2025 William Woods grad. Christi currently serves on the board of Emmaus Homes and the finance committee of the Missouri Mid South Conference of the United Church of Christ.
