Once An Owl

Always An Owl

Hey there, welcome back!

As one of our 20,000 alumni, you don’t need me to tell you what William Woods is all about. You already know. You lived it. You experienced how the mix of liberal arts and hands-on career prep changes a person.
Graduation wasn’t the end. It was just a different kind of beginning.

Here’s what we want you to know: you’re still part of William Woods. You always will be. And we want you to stay connected.

The story doesn’t end after graduation

Remember those moments when something just clicked for you in class? The friends you made? The professors who got you? That doesn’t have to be something you only look back on.

We’ve got events happening throughout the year. An alumni publication. Online stuff you can tap into from wherever you are. Come to campus if you’re in town. Network with other alums. Or honestly, just stay in touch however works best for you.

Stay engaged, be enriched

You’re part of something bigger here. You always have been. The William Woods story is part of your story now, and your story will forever be a part of William Woods. That connection doesn’t stop just because you aren’t in class anymore.

So let’s keep this going. You keep learning, keep connecting, and keep building on what you started here.

Your alma mater will always be here for you.

Alumni Spotlight

“I really enjoyed the small campus environment since I came from a town of 2,000. The people were inviting and the professors cared about me as a person. It was so hard to leave everything I knew, but The Woods made that transition easier and gave me what I’ll always concider my second home!”

Isaiah Buse ’23

Owner/Publisher

“From the very start the University made sure I had people looking out for me and people to go to. I genuinely felt that people cared about me on a personal level.”

Aurora Lucie Henriksen ’20

Cybersecurity Consultant

“What I found was that the atmosphere, the smaller atmosphere, plus the connections you could make, and that people knew your name, and that your professors knew you, all meant that you could really find a home at William Woods.”

Michele (Gallipeau) Markey ’82
