Freshman Applicants

William Woods University seeks students qualified to benefit from a William Woods education and who will actively contribute to student life. Every aspect of an applicant's credentials such as high school courses, grades and activities, performance on the ACT or SAT, class rank and community involvement are taken into consideration. You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible following completion of your junior year. William Woods University operates on a rolling admissions process.

Generally speaking, William Woods University encourages applicants to participate in a college preparatory curriculum but does not require a foreign language for acceptance. Freshman applicants with a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, at least a 19 on the ACT or 980 on the SAT will be accepted to the University.

Home-Schooled Applicants

William Woods has experienced a dramatic increase in enrollment from the home-schooling population, and has found that the prospective and current home-schooled students offer strong academics and a positive contribution to student life.

Apply as a Freshman Applicant

You are encouraged to apply as early as possible after you have completed your fifth semester in high school. Typically, this is in December of your junior year. You will be notified of an admissions decision shortly after all application materials are received, in keeping with our rolling admissions policy.
