Tiffany Nolan
Vice President of Student Life

Dr. Tiffany Nolan was appointed as Vice President of Student Life at William Woods in May 2022. She is responsible for student development while serving as a major contributing member of ongoing campus student retention efforts, providing leadership and management in the areas of Student Life, Student Involvement, Counseling and Health Services, University Chaplain, Center for Ethics and Global Studies, Office of Faith and Service, LEAD Program, Diversity and Inclusion, and Campus Safety.
Tiffany has more than 20 years experience working and leading a variety of student affairs and academic programs, serving at both mid-sized, public institutions and small, private liberal arts universities. She came to WWU from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri, where she served as Director of Grants and Sponsored Research. Previously, she served as Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri; Vice-President for Student Success and Engagement at Quincy (Ill.) University, and Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Nolan received her Bachelor or Science (Education) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; her Master’s (Education) from Clemson University and her Ph.D. (Education, Adults and Higher Education) from the University of South Dakota. She is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree, in Public Affairs, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
