Andre Cook
Andre L. Cook is a 33 year veteran of Law Enforcement, he retired in 2013. As a police officer he was skilled in investigation, patrol, administration, reporting, and community engagement to tackle crime reduction and case management. He quickly moved up the ranks through supervisory positions to sergeant, and lieutenant and worked in patrol, K-9, investigations, narcotics and administration. This progression culminated in his appointment as the Chief of Detectives for the Fulton Police Department. He spent his career helping those in need.
Andre has experience serving on many boards. He is a past member of the YMCA, Callaway County, Board of Directors; Secretary of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 44; member, Board of Directors Callaway County Crime Stoppers; member, Board of Directors Spirit Riders of Crosswind Ranch; member, Callaway Community Response Team, a Past President of the Fulton Rotary Club; member, Board of Directors The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri; and Board of Directors Columbia Police Foundation.
He currently works I n the Human Resources Department at the City of Columbia. He is a husband to Kathy and has three daughters (Shantae, Holly and Sheridan). Andre likes to spend his spare time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He loves the outdoors, traveling, sports, The Missouri Tigers and his prized Corvette.
Andre graduated from William Woods University with a degree in Business (B.S.), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc
