William Woods announces promotion of Nicole Elliott to Vice President of Student Affairs

Fulton, MO – Romaine Seguin, President of William Woods University (WWU) today announced the promotion of Nicole Elliott to Vice President of Student Affairs.  Since joining William Woods University in 2024, Elliott has served as Assistant Dean of Student Life, where she provided leadership and oversight to key areas of the traditional student experience, including Residential Life, Student Conduct, Campus Safety, the Woods Wellness Center, and University Dining.

“During my time at William Woods, Nicole has consistently evidenced not only a strong work ethic, but an exceptional commitment to ensuring the best possible student experience here at The Woods,” said President Seguin.  “We couldn’t be more excited about watching Nicole take this next important step in her role as a leader at William Woods.”

Born and raised in Fulton, MO, Elliott is a 2010 graduate of William Woods University with a degree in Communications, Graphic Design and Musical Theatre.  Additionally, she is currently completing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organizational Leadership at William Woods.  Elliott brings close to fifteen years of professional experience in higher education, with expertise spanning fraternity and sorority advising, undergraduate, international, and transfer admissions, student conduct, and residential life. Her passion for mentoring students to reach their potential and discover their purpose has fueled her commitment to the field of student affairs and her own lifelong learning journey.

“As a proud alumna and Callaway County native, I am honored to serve the students at William Woods University,” said Elliott.  “The support and mentorship I received as a student at The Woods inspired me to pursue a career in higher education and fueled my passion for creating meaningful co-curricular experiences. I am deeply committed to fostering an environment where students are empowered to become the best versions of themselves. I look forward to contributing to the leadership team and continuing the strong tradition of student-centered learning at William Woods.”

Beyond her professional endeavors, Nicole is a proud member of Delta Gamma, International women’s Fraternity serving Regionally as the Panhellenic and Recruitment Specialist for the Fraternity.
