Project Request

How the process works:

  1. Submit a project request.
  2. The Marketing / University Relations Department will schedule a meeting with you to discuss your project.*
  3. Marketing / University Relations will edit copy and design your project.
  4. You will review and approve content and design.
Please note that M/UR is responsible for maintaining William Woods University's brand and graphic design integrity. We are responsible for creating the materials that all departments use for public events and internal/external marketing. As such, we reserve final approval on the design of materials created in support of university events and programs.

A minimum of two weeks notice will be required for the creation and delivery of the first proof of your project. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks from start to completion of a project.
*M/UR will do its best to meet deadlines. Its ability to do so is contingent on the time of year and pressing departmental duties.

A note about mailing: If mailing is outsourced, a mailing list must be provided prior to ordering. A minimum of 200 pieces is required for nonprofit standard mailing.
Logistics
A note about printing: Based on deadline, quantity and budget, M/UR will determine whether your piece will be printed on or off-campus. You will receive an estimate of the printing costs either from an outside vendor or from M/UR prior to printing. All costs associated with the project are the responsibility of the requesting department, unless prior arrangements have been made.
