Teaching Philosophy:

  • It is the horse that brings students to the Equestrian Studies Division at WWU and the business/liberal arts setting that allows them to discover their best fit in this industry. Twenty-five years of teaching about horses has rewarded me with students and experiences that I could have never imagined. I have learned that teachable moments come at the most unexpected times, and that one ever knows if they will be the student or the teacher.
