Teaching Philosophy:

  • My goal as an educator is to use scholarly research and my experience in public school education to design rigorous and relevant learning opportunities for graduate students. Scholarly study, research design, and practitioner experiences are embedded into a collaborative learning environment to engage students in the design of sustainable organizational processes to solve complex educational issues. As a result, students will have the advanced knowledge and the leadership skills needed to be an effective leader in a variety of educational settings.
