An Enemy of the People

By Henrik Ibsen, adapted by Tom Isbel

Which is more important: public health or economic stability? In a modern adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People, a town must decide between cleaning up its contaminated spa and risk losing jobs or keeping its central industry open and continuing to make people sick. When the spa’s medical officer goes toe-totoe with the town’s mayor, he is declared an enemy of the people.
