Job Title: Adjunct Instructor for On-Ground MBA Program

Reports To: MBA Program Manager
Job Type: This is a part time, exempt position.
General Description:
William Woods University invites applications for part-time adjunct positions to teach on-ground Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses at our Fulton, Missouri, campus (William Woods University, 1 University Ave, Fulton, MO 65251).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach the on-ground MBA courses, including Management Systems, Management & Leadership, Managerial Ethics, Strategy Development & Implementation, Economics, Accounting, Finance, and Integrated Studies in Business Administration starting in the Fall semester of 2024. In the application’s cover page, applicants should clearly mention which of the above courses they are qualified for and willing to teach. Candidates can teach up to three courses in one 16-week semester.
Position Requirements:
· A doctoral degree in business administration or a related discipline is required. ABD candidates with a documented completion date will also be considered.
· Candidates with a master's degree may be considered if they have significant professional experience in a relevant discipline and have completed at least 18 graduate credit hours in business administration or a related field.
· Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred.
· Strong commitment to ongoing professional development, a robust work ethic, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
· Familiarity with and/or experience using a learning management system (LMS) such as D2L is preferred.
· Capable of independently managing teaching, grading, evaluation, and administrative responsibilities to achieve the program’s goals and objectives in alignment with the department, and University's mission.
