Job Title: Adjunct Instructor for MBA Program

Department: School of Business and Technology

Reports To: MBA Program Manager

Job Type: This is a part time, exempt position.

General Description:

William Woods University is now accepting applications for a part-time adjunct faculty to teach various business courses (managerial accounting, managerial economics, finance, financial decisions and business analytics) within our master of business administration (MBA) program.  Courses may be taught online or at our main campus location in Fulton, Missouri.

On-ground courses in Fulton, Missouri meet one night per week from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.  during eight week terms.

Position Requirements:

·A doctorate in the subject area is preferred.

·Applicants with an out of field doctorate and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching area may be considered.

·Applicants must have at least five (5) years of experience in the field related to the course(s) they will teach.

·Experience teaching courses at the graduate level is preferred.

·Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.

·Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills.

·Excellent computer skills.

·Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.

·Ability to develop a professional rapport with diverse school/campus constituents.

.Ability to develop and complete projects without continued direct supervision.

.Outstanding conflict resolution skills.
