Job Title: Adjunct Instructor for Biology

Reports To: Division Chair, Mathematics and Science
Job Type: This is a part time, exempt position.
William Woods University is now accepting applications for an adjunct instructor to teach Introduction to Biological Principles (BIO 105) starting August 20, 2018. This is a General Education Lab Science course taught in a studio format, which combines lecture and lab.
One section will be offered in Fall 2018 semester:
Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:50
- A Ph.D in a relevant discipline is preferred, but ABD candidates will receive strong consideration.
- Experience in both curriculum development and teaching non-majors is preferred.
- Experience with assessment preferred, or at least a willingness to collaborate in the creation and execution of assignments that meet our general education requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.
