EDU557 Field Experience I

The student and field experience on-site supervisor, a certificated building level administrator, will meet to discuss and plan the student’s field experience. Course expectations and requirements will be discussed. The student will have the opportunity during the six month, 240 hour field experience to practice those attitudes, skills, and behaviors necessary to provide positive leadership in an elementary, middle or secondary school. In collaboration with the university course facilitator and a certificated building-level administrator acting as the field experience on-site supervisor, the student will start to plan for the six month field experience requirements, and the electronic portfolio and school improvement plan. Discussion with the on-site supervisor will allow the student to be responsible for all field experience requirements to be completed in a timely manner.  0 Credits
