EQS304 Theory of Equine Behavior & Training Methods

This course addresses the physical and mental processes which contribute to equine behavior and will explore the principles of initial schooling of the horse up through early mounted work. Methods of working with the foal, haltering, leading, early handling procedures, lungeing, long lining, bitting, and backing the foal will be covered.
