LGS408 Children & the Law

An advanced, in-depth exploration of international and national policies that shape laws related to children. Topics covered will include the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child; relevance and applicability of civil liberties for children; and the legal status of children in the US, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: LGS 301 or permission of the instructor.
