SMG321 - Sports Marketing

This course is designed to provide students with a broad and contemporary overview of the sport marketing field. This course will compare and contrast the field of sport and entertainment marketing with the practices and applications of mainstream marketing. It will also provide students with three basic components of sport marketing (a) the use of sports as a marketing tool for other products; (b) the marketing of sports products; and (c) the emerging considerations relevant for both marketing through and the marketing of sports.
