ECN260 Introduction to Environmental Economics

This course defines the economic concepts related to private and public sector decision making concerning environmental and natural resource management. The course introduces students to externalities, property rights, public goods, environmental evaluation, and public policy implications. This course is in the format of lecture/discussion, and involves the engagement of all participants on a two-week trip to various destinations to learn about environmental economics in the field.
