ECN355 Intermediate Microeconomics

This course reinforces the knowledge base of microeconomics. The course gives students a more in-depth coverage of topics first introduced in those courses, including theory of consumer choice, theory of the firm and theory regarding market structure. This course offers a rigorous presentation of specific traditional and theoretical approaches to intermediate microeconomics. Students use concepts and draw conclusions with microeconomic tools. The overall emphasis of the course involves application of economic reasoning to business decision making. Prerequisite: ECN 252
