LGS328 ADR & Business Organizations

This course will introduce students to the use of various alternatives to litigation in legal practice. This course will include discussion of the goals of the traditional adversarial legal system and how those goals do not necessarily meet the interests of those who see justice and resolution of the conflicts through the courts. The course will include both the theoretical analysis and practical skill-building in conflict resolution. Students will also be introduced to the various types of business organizations and will explore the use of ADR in a business context.
