Undergraduate Admission

Undergraduate Admission Process

Traditional Programs:

  1. A completed Admissions Application form, and
  2. Official high school transcript
  3. SAT or ACT scores
  4. Transfer students should send college transcripts from each institution attended, as well as official high school transcripts
  5. Letters of recommendation and interviews are not required.

Evening/Online Campus programs:

To be considered for admission to Regular or Special Standing, a prospective student must submit a complete application for admission to Graduate College adult undergraduate programs. A complete application for admission consists of the following:

  1. A completed Admissions Application form, and
  2. Official  transcripts from all high schools (GED) and  undergraduate institutions the student attended.
  3. 25 Transferable credit hours. * (Degree Completion Programs only)

Students admitted to undergraduate study at William Woods University are admitted in one of two classifications.

Levels of Admission

Regular: A student who has satisfied all requirements and prerequisites for admission to the  College degree completion program.

Special: A student who holds a baccalaureate or graduate degree from a regionally accredited institution and who intends to enroll for a specific course or courses; or, a student otherwise qualified for admission who intends to enroll for a course with no intention of completing a degree; or, a student intending to qualify for Regular standing who has yet to complete the application process but who documents prior baccalaureate work and qualifying grade point average from a regionally accredited institution.
