BUS214 Business Ethics

An examination of moral issues in business. After a short introduction to basic ethical theory. The course concentrates on a variety of problem areas which include: consumer rights, bribery, reverse discrimination, affirmative action, corporate responsibility, regulation, fairness in advertising, "whistle blowing", and environmental responsibility. Emphasis on training students to analyze, evaluate, articulate, and defend logical positions on issues.
