SCI 130 - Foundations of Science -N

An introductory science course which includes fundamental topics in chemistry, earth science, and astronomy. Emphasis is placed on developing essential problem-solving skills as sample problems are often solved in small groups while strategies and techniques are discussed. Computing software is used to provide interactive instruction and develop intuition about the presented formulas. Regular in-class demonstrations are performed in order to enhance conceptual understanding.
