Do you want to teach or pass a state exam, but you only have a limited amount of available credit hours? Then this course is for you. Especially designed for education/social studies education majors/minors this condensed survey inquires into the development of World, American, and Missouri history from the dawn of man through the modern day. Topics in this course will include ancient Egypt, classical Greece and Rome, the dynasties of China, the Middle Ages, Colonization and Exploration, the American Revolution, the French Revolution, slavery and the Missouri Compromise, the World Wars, the Cold War, Civil Rights, the rise nationalism, and imperialism. Students will receive content and assignments specific to their future career as educators. Furthermore, each student will be required to prepare their own lesson and teach a class. This course covers the entirety human history, and if you want to be a teacher this course is essential.
