BMT 490 - International Business

This course will analyze current economic and political environment as a function of the interaction of business, governments, and peoples that is referred to by many as globalization. Because businesses are impacted by what is happening with other governments and peoples, students in this course will evaluate the impact globalization has on a firm’s strategic planning and marketing objectives. Students will critique managerial issues confronting executives and will critique specific operations (planning, organizing, staffing, leading, financing and controlling the worldwide operations of an international business).
