NUR 490 - Community/Public Health Capstone/Clinical

Focus on public and community health is emphasized. Care of individuals in diverse and non-traditional settings is explored. Application of population health and its importance in understanding health promotion, disease prevention and protection of individuals and communities through critical thinking and application is emphasized. Clinical experience of no less than 64 hours is required.

Pre-requisite: Admission to the BSN or BSN completion program for registered nurses. This course is to be taken the final semester of the degree program
