NUR 370 - Issues in Rural Health Nursing

Rural health issues and the unique challenges faced by nurses will be examined. Topics to be covered include access to health care, FQHCs, funding issues, staffing, and population health. Critical thinking and inquiry will be introduced in addition to problem solving skills.

Prerequisite: Admission to the BSN or BSN completion program for registered nurses

Credit Hours: 3.00
