An introduction to discrete mathematics. Focus on applications in economics, political science, decision theory, and biology. Specific topics typically include: voting systems, fair division, circuits and scheduling, exponential growth, fractal geometry, elementary probability and statistics.

Prerequisite: MAT 099 or equivalent.
