HLT 230 - Issues in Genetics for Healthcare Professionals

This course provides an introduction to issues in genetics for healthcare professionals. Students will examine the history and evolution of the study of genetics to present applications and implications for health care professionals. This course includes presentation and management of individuals with genetic disorders and insight into real life application of individuals and families.
