Concentration Details

Art Education Concentration (K-12) - 68 Credits (Required Content Knowledge - 24 Credits and Required Professional Education - 44 Credits)

Students who plan to teach Art grades K-12 in Missouri must complete the Art Education sequence of courses and the requirements for Secondary Certification (50 hours). *Students must have applied and received admission to the Teacher Education Program in order to take 400 level courses. Please speak with your advisor or the department of education if you have questions. Education majors must complete all major courses, including concentration and secondary certification courses (if applicable), with a final grade of ‘C’ or better.
