Doctoral Student Continuous Enrollment
Doctoral students are required to maintain continuous enrollment at William Woods University. Students must be registered from the time they begin the program until they successfully defend their dissertation. If a student withdraws from the University or fails to enroll each semester, they will be charged a EdD Continuous Enrollment fee upon their return. This includes students who are dropped for non payment. This fee will equal the cost of one credit hour, with fees, for every semester they have not been enrolled. It should be noted that students are still required to complete their dissertation within five years of successfully completing the Comprehensive Exam.
Only after the EdD continuous enrollment fee is paid will the student be reassigned a dissertation supervisor who may or may not be the one with whom the student was working previously.
