ATR 525 - Clinical III: Immersive Intensive

Clinical component will consist of practice of athletic training specific skills including screening of general medical conditions, evaluation of the upper extremities, lower extremities, and spine; application of first aid techniques including taping/bracing; application of modalities and manual therapy techniques; and prescription of therapeutic exercises under the supervision of a certified athletic trainer, physical therapist, or physician for minimum of 320 and a maximum of 480 hours. While traditional settings will be available, the learner will be encouraged to pursue areas of emerging settings.

Prerequisite: ATR 515 with a “B” or better
