ATR 515 - Clinical II: General Medical Intensive

Lecture/lab component will review medical conditions. Future clinicians will complete 4 case-based practical examinations differentiating musculoskeletal and medical diagnoses.

Clinical component will consist of practice of athletic training specific skills including evaluation of non-orthopedic and general medical conditions under the supervision of a emergency medical technician, certified athletic trainer, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or physician at an outpatient clinic, walk-in clinic, emergency department or ambulance service for minimum of 100 and a maximum of 150 hours.

Prerequisite: ATR405 and Must be Preliminarily Approved for the MSAT program

Corequisite: ATR511
