Prior to his role as William Woods University’s Grant Writer, Brandon taught for 13 years at private and public schools in Missouri while also writing for and directing online and print publications. Towards the end of his teaching career, Brandon found a new calling—grant writing.
Brandon has three years of grant writing experience writing corporate, private foundation, and government grants.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO; a Master of Professional Writing from the University of Southern California; a Missouri Lifetime Teacher’s Certificate in Middle and High School English; and a Grantsmanship Certificate from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Brandon recently earned credit from completion of a digital fundraising class from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
