Michelle Linn (BFA, Broadcast Communications '96), is Anchor of FOX23 News This Morning and Reporter for FOX23, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

While at William Woods, Michelle completed studies at Broadcast Center, in Clayton and internships at KRCG-TV in Jefferson City, and KSDK-TV in St. Louis.

Immediately after graduation, the St. Louis native started working as a part-time reporter at KMIZ-TV in Columbia.  She was quickly promoted to morning cut-in anchor, and produced and anchored news updates during Good Morning America.  In 1998, she launched the station's first hour-long morning show.  Michelle worked in many positions, while at KMIZ: News Anchor, Reporter, Producer, Assignment Desk Editor, Promotions Manager, and Director of PR.

She also had the opportunity to work as an Adjunct Instructor in the Broadcast Communications program at William Woods.

In 2010, FOX23 came calling, and Michelle jumped at the chance to follow her career to a larger TV market, in Tulsa, OK.  She now co-anchors FOX23 News This Morning, from 5-9 AM, then usually goes out into the field to report on breaking news or enterprise stories.  After nearly two decades of doing TV news, Michelle is still passionate and excited about identifying issues in the community and sharing stories.

Michelle loves connecting with WWU students and alums, and is happy to answer any questions for anyone who is considering this career path.

Michelle and her husband have four children.  When she's not working, she's active on social media, or planning her family's next travel adventure.
