Carmen Watchinski

Carmen graduated from William Woods University in December 2010 with a bachelor of arts in biology and a minor in American Sign Language. At William Woods she was involved in several campus organizations such as President’s Twenty, Student Alumni Council, and the Pre-Vet Club. She also served as the biology tutor on campus. She was initiated into Omicron Delta Kappa and Order of Omega in 2009. She is a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity and during her time as a collegian, she served as director of scholarship for two years and president for one year.

After graduation, she began a doctoral program of veterinary medicine degree at University Of Missouri. She graduated with her DVM in May 2015, and she began her career as a mixed animal practitioner in Mountain View, Mo. She is currently the associate veterinarian at Barn Hollow Veterinary Services and she has loved every minute of her career. She lives in Seymour, Mo. because her boyfriend is also a veterinarian who currently works in Ozark, Mo. at a small animal practice.

She looks forward to continuing her career as a veterinarian and continuing to grow and learn in her profession every day.
