Aaron Griffin

Multimedia Manager, FC Dallas Soccer Club

Class of 2011 - B.S. Communications

Aaron oversees the production of all visual/video content of FC Dallas' suite of digital properties, including FCDallas.com and applicable social media (YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Video, etc.)

His primary responsibilities include the conceptualization and execution of multimedia projects for online, broadcast, social media, game/in-stadium presentation and more. He works with team stakeholders to design and launch new video features, including those for editorial, commercial/promotional and competition.

"The easiest way to describe my job is that if there is a video I am in charge of creating it. I produce all television commercials, partnership videos, online videos, and videos that create the game presentation (such as player features, crowd prompt graphics like "make some noise," etc.). On game days I produce our live pregame show in the stadium, as well as film all the action once the game starts. Lately I've been traveling to away games to capture the games (the picture attached is from our recent playoff game in Portland)."

One of the largest projects Aaron has worked on this year is creating stories and all of the graphics (show intro, transitions, lower thirds, etc.) for the new pregame magazine show that airs on TXA21 - one of the cable channels in Dallas.

"The biggest project I worked on this year was the "Lamar's Vision" campaign to promote the new additions to the stadium, as well the National Soccer Hall of Fame relocation to our stadium." (More information on this project can be found at www.fcdallashof.com.)
