Hometown: O’Fallon, MO
Major: Social Work
Why did you choose William Woods?
I originally chose WWU for the small community atmosphere, beautiful campus, and because it had all the majors I was interested in. However, I stayed for the people. I’ve found an irreplaceable community full of leadership opportunities, which have encouraged me to grow and develop many valuable skills.
What campus organizations are you involved in?
Alpha Chi Omega, Rotaract, University Ambassador, Student Assembly, Orientation Leader, Freshman Advantage Mentor, Woods Around the World, Project 123 and Social Work Club
What is your favorite thing to do in Fulton?
I love going to the Brick District. There’s always something going on, especially in the fall and spring!
What is the best LEAD event you’ve ever been to?
My favorite LEAD event was the one for Domestic Violence Awareness by Donna Montague. She is the volunteer coordinator at CARDV. I really enjoyed her story and I made a networking connection. I now volunteer often for Donna and she’s given me references for jobs in the Social Work field!
