Why did you come to William Woods?
I came to William Woods because the moment I stepped on campus, I felt at home. I enjoy the small size and only being an hour-and-a-half away from home. I was told I would be a great a fit for the school and fell in love.
What has been your favorite class?
My favorite class so far has been Interactive Web Communications.
What is one word you’d use to describe William Woods?
What has been your favorite LEAD event?
My favorite LEAD events have been the concerts. I enjoy getting to be outside and listen to music while still getting a LEAD point.
What’s one thing you wish you had known when you first started at William
Woods? I wish I would have known how different the days were going to be. I never expected to have so much spare time.
Have you ever had a fun nickname?
My family has always called me Piggy. It was given to me as a baby because I always ate so much and it has never gone away no matter how embarrassing it is.
What is your favorite thing in your room?
My favorite thing in my room is all of my pictures — I am surrounded by the people I love every day, even when they aren’t here.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
The Chi Omega house. I love being around all my sisters and being able to be myself all the time.
Where do you like to study?
I like to study by myself in a quiet place. By being by myself, I am able to focus and get all my work done with no distractions.
What is a typical weekday like for you at William Woods?
A typical weekday involves me going to classes and after either going to get food at Beks or going to see my boyfriend.
What is your favorite place in Fulton?
My favorite place in Fulton is the Post Office Bar and Grill. I love to be able to hang out and eat on the patio with all my friends.
What has surprised you the most about going to school at William Woods?
I was surprised most by the helpful staff. Before coming to WWU, I was most nervous about classes and working with professors.
What has been the most challenging part of college?
The most challenging part of college has been trying to balance classes and schoolwork with my social life back home. I find it difficult to go home often due to all the work I have to get done on campus.
What is one word your friends would use to describe you?
What is your favorite memory of your time here at William Woods so far?
The day I joined Chi Omega. Since that day, I have developed life-long friendships and have bettered myself.
Who is your favorite faculty or staff member?
My favorite staff member is Dr. Erik Hillskemper. I enjoy his teaching style and like the way he presents his topics.
What is your superpower?
My superpower is my adaptability. I have grown so much since coming to the Woods and have adapted to being away from my mom and my boyfriend. I went from a homebody to an outgoing sorority woman.
