Major: Sports Administration with a minor in Accounting

Campus Activities: Basketball, Pi Kappa Alpha, Bio Club, Pre-Med Club.

What are your career plans?

I want to be in an administration position on the sports side of a college or professional team.

Why did you come to William Woods?

I came here to play basketball.

What has been your favorite class here so far? Why?

Any class with Professor Bob Scott. He is an interesting professor with an interesting teaching style.

What has been your favorite LEAD event so far? Why?

Sports events because I love sports.

What’s one thing you wish you had known when you first started at William Woods?

That you should try and meet everyone you can. It’s better to get to know people as soon as you get here than wait because it only gets harder.

What is one thing you wish more people knew about you?

I have a passion for skiing, either water or mountain.

What is your favorite thing in your room here and why?

I have a huge room in Booth Hall being a CA. It’s amazing to have a space for homework and everything else that I brought.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?

Anderson Arena — the basketball court is my happy place.

Where do you like to study?

I love to study in the quiet room in the library.

What is a typical weekday like for you at William Woods?

I wake up, shower, go to class, then go to weights, clean up and go back to class, eat lunch, then have a couple hours off to relax or do homework. Then go to practice or get ready for a basketball game. Lastly, I would either study or play video games. Then I would go to bed.

What is your favorite place in Fulton?

My grandma’s house. I get to go over and eat home cooked meals in an amazing environment with my family.

What has surprised you the most about going to school at William Woods?

The professors and their willingness to help and offer their time.

What has been the most challenging part of college?

The most challenging part is learning to manage your time with classes.

What is one word your friends would use to describe you?

Adaptive.

What is one word you’d use to describe William Woods?

Inviting.

What is your favorite memory of your time here at William Woods so far?

Rushing Pike.

Who is your favorite faculty or staff member? Why?

The basketball coach, James Hays.
