Major: Sports Management with minors in Business Administration and Management Information Systems

Campus Activities: Baseball team, President’s Twenty, National Society of Leadership and Success, Dean’s List, Sports Management Club.

What internships/jobs have you had?

I interned at Eagle Knoll Golf Course and previously worked for Southern Boone School District, City of Ashland, and Callaway 2 Water District.

What are your career plans?

To manage a golf course or an athlete training facility.

Why did you come to William Woods?

I am from a small town and WWU gives students that same atmosphere.

What has been your favorite class here so far?

Accounting because I enjoy working with numbers.

What has been your favorite LEAD event so far?

My favorite was the double amputee bomb technician, Johnny Joey Jones. He has a very inspiring story and is a great public speaker.

What’s one thing you wish you had known when you first started at William Woods?

I wish I would have paid more attention to the resources WWU provides both on campus and online.

What is one thing you wish more people knew about you?

That I am very good at understanding and reading people.

Have you ever had a fun nickname?

EO. Pretty basic but I’ve had it my whole life.

What is your favorite thing in your room here and why?

Definitely my American flag.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?

Junior Lake. It’s a pretty solid spot to hang out and fish/kayak.

Where do you like to study?

I like to study in the library computer lab and in my room. My one tip is to break up your studying with something irrelevant to what you’re studying.

What is a typical weekday like for you at William Woods?

Weights, class, practice, schoolwork, and hanging out with my roommates/teammates. If I have more time, I like to go out for food and drinks or play a round of golf.

What is your favorite place in Fulton?

My favorite place is the Brick District. Plenty of great food and the occasional drink special.

What has surprised you the most about going to school at William Woods?

I was surprised how personable the staff and students are. Professors are a quick email, text, or call away.

What has been the most challenging part of college?

Time management.

What is one word your friends would use to describe you?

Dad.

What is one word you’d use to describe William Woods?

Friendly.

What is your favorite memory of your time here at William Woods so far?

Conference road trips with the boys.

Who is your favorite faculty or staff member?

Coach Fletcher. That guy is a good time and has plenty of stories.

What is your superpower?

My superpower is networking. I am skilled at meeting new people and making connections.
