What are your career plans?

I would like to continue my education and become an occupational therapist.

Why did you come to William Woods?

I was originally apprehensive about coming to a school so close to where I live, but once I took a tour of the campus I knew it was the place for me.

What is one word you’d use to describe William Woods?


What has been your favorite class?

My favorite class I have taken here so far is the Bible in Modern Culture with Travis Tamerius, because he is so knowledgeable about such a wide range of topics.

What has been your favorite LEAD event so far?

My favorite LEAD event so far was the Theo Peoples event. They did such a good job of getting to crowd involved.

What’s one thing you wish you had known when you first started at William Woods?

I wish I would have known about the on campus resources that can help you with just about any problem you have, whether it be personal or academic.

What is your favorite thing in your room?

My favorite thing in my room is my refrigerator because I eat constantly, so it’s good to always have food around.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus is the turf room in Helen Stephens because you can always go in there and pay wiffle ball or soccer.

Where do you like to study?

My favorite place to study is the library basement because so few people use that no one is ever down there.

What is a typical weekday like for you at William Woods?

My day will normally start out with practice at either 6 or 6:45 a.m. After that, I will go get breakfast and take a nap before my classes start. When my classes get over, I go to practice again and usually try to go to bed as soon as I can.

What is your favorite place in Fulton?

My favorite place in Fulton is the Brick District because of all the little stores and restaurants. It’s a nice place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

What has surprised you the most about going to school at William Woods?

How friendly the staff is here. They are always willing to share their knowledge with those who appreciate it and have a passion for learning.

What has been the most challenging part of college?

The most challenging part of college for me is time management, with balancing sports, fraternity, and grades, it’s important to stay on top of all my studies and training.

What is one word your friends would use to describe you?


What is your favorite memory of your time here at William Woods so far?

I think that it is all the small things in everyday life here that make me enjoy living here so much.

Who is your favorite faculty member?

My favorite faculty member here is Dr. Julian Hertzog. He knows so much about his subject and has so much in the field experience he can easily give real world examples.

My resilience.
