DISCOVER:
This online tool allows you to complete interest inventories which can aid you in the seleciton of careers and majors of interest. This program also provides useful research information to learn more about careers including salary and employment outlook.
Optimal Resume:
Optimal Resume is a full-service program that walks you through the process of developing your resume, cover letter and portfolio. The program helps you identify transferrable skills and posts all these materials to your personal webpage. Optimal Resume also provides online mock interviews.
Myers-Briggs:
The MBTI® Career Report shows you how your type affects career exploration and discusses the benefits of choosing a job that is a good fit for your type. It also explores preferred work tasks and work environments-as well as most popular and least popular occupations-for your type, and offers strategies for improving job satisfaction and is designed for easy research and follow-up.
Strong Interest Inventory:
Making college life satisfying and rewarding requires both selecting the right academic major and creating a campus and community life that is personally enriching. The Strong Interest Inventory® College Edition takes the wealth of career interest data provided in the Strong Profile one step further. An additional personalized report helps you explore the path that is right for you by identifying specific college courses, jobs or internships, and extracurricular activities that will allow you to express your unique interests and personal style. There is a $10 fee for this service.
