National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) is to move public opinion sufficiently to achieve the repeal of marijuana prohibition so that the responsible use of cannabis by adults is no longer subject to penalty and to enable medical use of marijuana as prescribed by a doctor.

The WWU student chapter of NORML will educate the community about cannabis, hemp, and laws related to their cultivation and use. It will also provide leadership to members of the WWU community directed at the reform of marijuana laws, create opportunities for students to become involved in political and legal processes related to repeal of marijuana prohibition, and support the national NORML organization.
