‘Fraud Squad’ Investigator to Speak at WWU

The speaker, Robert Hull, is an investigator with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. His presentation at 6:30 p.m. in the Library Auditorium is free and open to the public.
Hull conducts investigations, inspections and establishment visits on behalf of the commission. His coverage area includes the St. Louis Metro area and about a four-hour radius.
He routinely works with the United States Customs Service, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Missouri State Fire Marshal, fire departments, medical examiners, and consumers in the field.
Hull has been with the commission since April 2001, and previously served as an auditor with the Department of Defense, with an emphasis in fraud investigations. He has completed more than 15 years of federal service.
He earned a master of business administration (MBA) degree from William Woods University in 1999 and has attended various training at the National Fire Academy, Fire Findings Laboratories and with the U.S. Government.
Hull qualified and participated in the 1987 and 1988 NAIA National Cross Country Championships and the 1987 NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships at 5,000 meters. He is married and has an 8-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter.
