Citigroup Foundation Awards $101,400 Scholarship Grant to Missouri Colleges Fund

Citigroup recently awarded a grant of $101,400 to the Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) to provide scholarships to students majoring in teacher education and planning a career in public education.
The grant will underwrite two $3,900 Citigroup Outstanding Teacher Scholarships at each of the 13 MCF member schools. The scholarships will be awarded by the member schools on the basis of financial need.
The MCF was formed in 1952 as a non-profit corporation. The MCF mission is to acquire resources to help educate students in its 13 member private liberal arts colleges and universities.
In addition to Westminster College and William Woods University, Missouri Colleges Fund member schools are Avila University, Kansas City; Central Methodist University, Fayette; Culver-Stockton College, Canton; Drury University and Evangel University, Springfield; Fontbonne University, Maryville University and Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis; Park University, Parkville; Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, and William Jewell College, Liberty.
