When children talk, college students listen.
Fourth graders at McIntire School wanted to do something to help the children affected by the tsunami disaster. They set a goal to raise $400 and challenged others to do the same.
Four student organizations at William Woods University—Panhellenic Council, Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma and Pi Kappa Alpha—met the challenge by donating $100 each to the effort.
The money is being sent to the nonprofit organization “Save the Children,” specifically earmarked for the children of the tsunami disaster.
