Art Show to Feature Work of Alumni, Students

The upcoming art exhibit at William Woods University will feature the work of two alumni and six graduating seniors.

The alumni are Dell Fox of Santa Fe, N.M., who graduated in 1976 and specializes in jewelry, and Kitty Burri-Schachter of Lake Worth, Fla., who graduated in 1975 and specializes in mixed media.

The seniors are all graphic design majors and five of them are from mid-Missouri. They are: Leslie Bechtel, Maura Mudd and Levi Williams of Fulton; Dustin Thomas of Mokane; Khoa Nguyen of Mexico, and Amanda Ellis of Florissant.

The Alumni/Senior Art Show will be on display April 1-May 8 in the Mildred Cox Gallery of the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts. An opening reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. April 1.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, call (573) 592-4245.
