The concert, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Dulany Auditorium.
Songs to be performed include “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, “Proud” by Heather Small, “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” by Cher, “Firework” by Katy Perry, a mash-up of “Survivor” and “I Will Survive” by the cast of Glee, “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson and Joyful Noise, and “Imagine” by John Lennon and the cast of Glee.
Members of First Impressions are Melissa Williams of St. Louis, Mo., Maggie Hunter of Columbia, Mo.; Jonathan Meyer of Creve Coeur, Mo.; Kyle Hendrix of St. Charles, Mo.; Brynn Shaw of Kingdom City, Mo.; Jen Steindorf of San Diego, Calif.; Susan Jackson of Park Hills, Mo.; Alex Gleeson of Hermann, Mo.; Alison Heifner of Potosoi, Mo.; Deborah Duval of Tulsa, Okla.; and Trevor Gruber of Holt, Mo. The choir is directed by Michael Dodson, a WWU graduate assistant.
"The choir has worked extremely hard this year to maintain a presence on campus,” Dodson said. “This is our third performance (the holiday concert in November and the MLK Jr. Gospel Tribute in January). My goal is to show students that choral singing can be pleasant to hear and enjoyable to watch when you add in entertainment and theatrical elements."
